Right, both the NC10 and the N110 have been around for a few months, though the N110 netbook is still not that widely available, and we’d love to know which of these two great cheap netbooks you prefer.
We’ve used both in the office now, and all of our staff have either the NC10 netbook or the N110 netbook at home as their own personal preferred netbook anyway.
I’ve had a Samsung NC10 netbook now since they came out, and it’s never let me down, has done everything I asked of it, and still gets admiring Oohs and Aahs whenever I take it out – though I did get the fabulous white model and there are still very few white netbooks around.
I love the clear glowing TFT display, and 10.1 inches is superb for Battlestar Galactica and I’ve even been revisiting the complete series of home. The Shield on it. And the 160 Gigabyte hard disk of course has plenty of room for all the eps of The Shield ever produced without breaking sweat! Sound is superb, though I also connect the NC10 netbook to my fabulous portable speaker system for the full cinematic experience when I’m at home. (check them out HERE if you’re still listening to your netbook in the raw – they really are great speakers for only around 50 notes.)
But Sally swears by the N110 netbook. She had the NC10 and loved it, but was seduced by the glossy screen the minute she saw the N110 and swore that the N110 was Samsung’s answer to her prayers.
The Samsung N110 has the same processor, disk and memory as the Samsung NC10, so there’s no difference in functionality, but some people just love the look of it. It’s a little bit dearer than the NC10, but Sally says that this is one cool netbook and it’s worth it.
So which is it to be? NC10 netbook or N110 netbook? We’ve told you where we stand so how about you? Post a comment and let us know. We’re waiting.
